What do you get with AI billionaires, a lost dog, and a drunkard half brother? An overlong Orphan X novel, where bit players and “is this how humans feel” take up way too much space.

Action, as always, was intense, including a long chase through LA that was a little hard to follow but doubtlessly would be great on the big screen.

While enjoyable as a fan of the series, this one was more long-winded than it needed to be. I actually started falling asleep during some parts.
