Hmmm, I almost feel like shit giving JR a bad review but this book didn't hold my interest. I thought it was well-written and thoughtful and it came around a bit at the end, but I wasn't in love or even in like with this one. Shucks. Sorry.

I loved this series of short stories, how it wove interconnected stories together of people in the same vicinity, but illuminated the lives and vulnerabilities of the various characters.
Really enjoyed this young adult book, the dialogue, the nostalgia and the personality of this book of short stories is so engaging to read
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5. Ten chapters, ten stories, ten blocks. Reynolds takes the stories of ten middle school students as they walk home and weaves them together, creating a tale where not much really happens, but much ground is covered. Characters deal with illnesses, homosexuality, anxiety, and more as they get through school and make it home. Solid, and recommended for middle school readers.
