Dad's best friend, single dad/nanny, and age gap?!?! What more could you ask for in this short and spicy novella? I was so excited to read Graham and Hailey's story. They have such great chemistry! I love an FMC who goes after what she wants and an amazing Dad who treats his women like the princesses they are.

I received an ARC from The Smuthood for this (thank youuu!) - Jenn Plummer is a new-to-me author, and I was very pleasantly surprised. I'm generally not a HUGE fan of novellas because I like more character development than they usually provide, but this one packed a lot of detail in for how long it was.
This book checked off a lot of my favorite tropes - age gap, single dad, dad's best friend, nanny, surprise pregnancy.
Hailey and Graham were great together. So sweet and so spicy. And I absolutely adored Hailey's relationship with Mila - they had so much fun and you could just feel how much Hailey adored her.
This was a great, quick read and I plan on diving further into the rest of the series.

This isn’t my favorite novella in the Aspen ridge universe because I’m not a fan of the dad’s best friend trope. However if you can get past that, this is a fun short and spicy age gap and small town romance!
Felt like it didn't live up to what I wanted it to be. I skimmed a bit further to see if it recovered so I'm not sure exactly when I stopped reading
I really liked this one - it was my first Jenn Plummer book and my only gripe was that it was a novella. It was pretty much done in the blink of an eye.
Given how short it was, there was a good balance of story and smut - and I was thoroughly entertained. I don't think there was a lot of depth to the characters but I would've loved to have this be a full length feature.
I've talked about the smut right? It was hot n' heavy; very enjoyable. There's some guest appearances from tertiary characters and I'm excited to go back & explore the series.
If you're a first time reader & if loose threads bother you, then I suggest you start the series in the right order. I've never read this series and I felt a bit left out when some of the other characters made guest appearances. However, this is the tiniest of gripes - it's a great read, will defo recommend.

This was SO FREAKING GOOD!
Hailey I loved how she puts her mind to something and then goes for it. She was such a great mom figure to Mila and loved her so much. Hailey was such a great match for Graham. Also her sass to her mom had me laughing!
Graham was great as well! He was evenly balanced with Hailey, and was seriously such a perfect match for her.
These two had serious chemistry and I am here for it!
