YİNE KAFAM ÇOK KARIŞTI VE HER ŞEY AMA H E R Ş E Y MAHVOLDU NEDEN NEDEN gidiyorum ben ya

2.5 stars...

The only thing that happened in the ENTIRE book happened at the end.

Mara was annoying and shoved into the background. Noah kept saying/thinking a bunch of confusing stuff. The suicides were pointless and went unexplained. WTH is up with Leo. I could go on and on but in summary I was incredibly disappointed with this book.

I often wonder why some authors just don't write new material instead of prolonging a previous series. Like, hello? Can't you just let the characters live happily ever after? Must there be more add ons? I didn't care for this at all.

Okay so i loved the original mara dyers and this one definitely lives up the overall feel of thse. Thats what made mara dyer so compelling. the plot arc seems interesting and im excited to see wher eit goes . however the one thing i was annoyed with was communication(or lack thereof) was such a integral point and i was screaming the entire book, "just fucking talk toeachother". and noahs monologue "mara doesnt tell me things that makes me sad" was literally right after saying"i'm not gunna tell her this itll make her worry" like bro do u not see the hypocrisy!!!???
i also really like noahs mental portrayal its very real and was probs not something I shoukd read lol

please don't ask me about anything that happened in this book because i have no idea. i literally did not understand shit. SPECIALLY the last 100 pages. NOTHING AT ALL I HAVE NEVER BEEN MORE CONFUSED IN MY ENTIRE LIFE
marashaw though. don't wanna talk about them. i very much hate them at the moment. goodbye.

man, i love you michelle, but i'm kinda disappointed. maybe i've changed, though

2.5*

Well. That.. Was disappointing. Sigh.

Really did not enjoy this book. Thought the ending was very anticlimactic and not very believable even with the given story line.

(Audio book reader)

First and foremost! I wanna say that the narrator was excellent! It made the book more enjoyable and really made you feel like you were in Noah's head.

As for the book in general, it took me a while to really get in to it. I believe it's because the author took a while since the Mara Dyer trilogy to start this new series. Although it's in Noah's perspective, the story really banks on many things that happened in the previous three books. Once I started remembering who everyone was (others I had to look the characters online to remember) and what had happened in those previous books, the story started to make more sense and I was able to get in to the book a little bit more.

I gave it only 3 stars, because although the writing was good, it didn't grab me like the previous three books, until the end (why do authors do that?). It is always the last chapter... the middle is ok, but they always make up for it in that last chapter. That f*****g ending though! Bah! Anyways, hoping the next book will bring more answers and pick up a bit more of the pace since some parts felt more like filler.
