I found this book to be more exciting than the first in the series, and the ending definitely left me wanting to read the third book! There was more action in this book, and the introduction of some new characters helping to move the story along nicely.

I loved the story. The last little bit got really intense, I wish the pacing was spread out a little bit more.
Suffers from second book in a trilogy syndrome - the plot muddles along until it leaves you at a cliffhanger at the end.
If it's possible, I may have liked this even better than the original. More photographs, more drama, more fun. Nothing but good things to say!
This was a quicker read than the first book and I admit: I DID NOT see that coming.

i really enjoyed this one!! i read the first half a bit slower because i was also finishing onyx storm at the time, but the second half flew by. i think the latter half of this book was what made it so enjoyable for me. it became very fast paced, and i had forgotten what the plot twists were, so i was sat. the characters are really settling into themselves, and the story is feeling more genuine, as if the author felt more invested the more he was writing. the plot is getting darker, but also more authentic and different from other ya stories, so im so excited to read on and revisit the little pockets of memories that i have from the rest of these books(and to finally see how it ends).
