Thriller o sérii naprosto příšerných rozhodnutích.
V knize se střídají tři pohledy, ona v minulosti, ona v přítomnosti a on v přítomnosti píšící dopis o minulosti.

Fiona and Bram are a couple newly separated but sharing a home with their young boys. The boys live full time at their home on Trinity avenue and Fiona and Bram share custody, and rotate parenting duties. But one day Fiona returns to their home only to find all of her belongings gone and a new family moving into their home. These people say that they have bought her house and have the paperwork to prove it, but Fiona never sold it. And worse, Bram has disappeared without a word. What is going on here?
This is one book so full of twists and turns and dark secrets that it's like a funhouse ride. You just buckle yourself in and sit back and watch all the fun unfold. There's absolutely no way to predict anything in this novel; there is zero foreshadowing. It has more twists and turns than a box of macaroni. I really enjoyed reading this.
The main characters are Bram and Fiona and the story is told in their alternating voices. Neither one is really fully developed and fleshed out but they are a loveable couple and I was pulling for them to be together at the end of the book. The story is set in London in 2017; characters have smart phones and use Uber. The plot moves pretty quickly and there's no chance of getting bored here. There were some drinks, mostly beer and wine, but I think some Vodka too. There were no street drugs that I can remember. There were a couple of sex scenes which were described with minimalist detail. There were a couple scenes of violence early on. I think this book would have been better with more character detailing and finishing, but it is still a great story as it is right now. I am giving this book four stars.

I'm not sure if it counts as completely finishing a book if you skip over pages and pages and just read the ending. This book was SO SLOW and BORING. There was nothing exciting or thriller-ish about it at all. Even the ending was boring, although it totally sucks that Fi was screwed over by Bram even through the very end.

a little thriller that didnt really become a thriller until the last 100 pages. most of the book was a retelling of a divorce.
but i did enjoy it by the end! it was a different pace to the thrillers i usually read but a nice break after lots of uni books. really want to just keep reading nice books now haha but my list of books for uni is sooo long.
i would recommend! some unreliable narration and interesting forms of storytelling. glad i read.
