I didn't know going in that this was a religious romance story, so it was a bit too much for my liking. Other than that it was really predictable (everything was almost hammered in so that there wouldn't be any mystery to how the story would go) and too much telling instead of showing (saying they shared a passionate kiss instead of showing how they kissed doesn't really do anything for me, and that's the most romance there was). The epilogue sounded interesting, but the actual story was a bit boring. It wasn't the worst book I've ever read, but it wasn't anything special either.

Tha audio version was also sometimes hard to listen to, since the narrator didn't switch character voices pretty much at all to show who was talking at a time.

The fourth and final installment in the Royal Weddings series. These are light, fluffy, and enjoyable, and very Hallmark-esque. Just exactly what I’m looking for at certain points in my reading, being the finicky, moody reader that I am. I enjoyed this one that explored the past and present relationship between Susanna Truitt’s younger sister Avery and Prince Colin of Brighton.

This fun fourth book in the Royal Wedding series was hard to put down. It seems like this is the finale to the series given the epilogue, but hopefully not. I've really enjoyed this series and being immersed into the fictional country of Brighton. I listened to the audiobook version and enjoyed the narrator, though at times it was hard to tell which character was speaking because she didn't change her voice much from character to character.

There is nothing like a Christmas library hold becoming available in February LOL!  This was a really sweet story!  I listened via audiobook and thoroughly enjoyed it. I didn’t read the others of this series. This can be read as a standalone.

1.5 stars. I recognize that this book was not for me. I don't particularly like contemporary romances that have to do with royalty. I also knew going in that it was Christian Fiction, but despite all that, the cover was so pretty, and I was hopeful that the religious aspects would be done artfully. There was just way more focus on marriage and babies and royalty than I prefer, and the religious parts were so awkward and clunky. Add a monotonous audiobook narrator on top of it all, and this was just not a fun experience.

This is the 4th book in the Royal Wedding Series (aka my dream storyline), and the series was ready for its finale. The final love story was told, but some ancient lore and tradition was introduced which helped add some key plot info. As always, the love story was fairy-tale like. A fun read—and a good series finale.
