The writing style and the long descriptions didn't drew me in, neither did the MC or the couple of side characters.

Frankly reading this, something didn't sit right with me, especially after all the hype around the book from people I follow on IG, so I went searching for reviews and Strudelnudel in their review pretty much says it all.

I'm not rating since I DNFed so early.

Needed to bake in the oven for a little bit longer, maybe tackled by a critical eye or two. Characters lacked a strong personality, and I forgot about the core challenge the protagonist has to overcome (being thwarted back into the human relm) because of the distractions.

At the begining when there was a new place introduced there wayyyyy to much description, its like a page of describing something then the mc actually does something, but later on it started maming sense.  I love the banter between them. The vibes are amazing. This book got me out of a reading slump and a 
depression episode.
