mysterious fast-paced
There is quite a bit that happens right away at the beginning. This was relatable as I had a very bad concussion with memory issues. As it goes along, you’re just not sure if you can believe that she really has amnesia or not. It is written in 3rd person, and you not sure if any character is telling the truth. Half way through and couldn’t put it down!  So twisty.

Didn't love like I did her first novel, the characters in this were just very meh and not a lot of exciting things happened but I flew through it and quite enjoyed it.

I was bored for a majority of this book. I wanted to DNF but I'm glad I stuck with it. I can't say that anything that happened was really shocking until the very end. I think it's just Lapena's writing style that just isn't doing it for me. I almost feel like she's giving too much away too soon. Now, if the rest of the book had been as crazy and engaging as the last chapter or so, then this would be a much more enjoyable book. Sadly, this one just wasn't for me.
