I do love this series and the characters and working through the mysteries. I thought there were a number of editing inconsistencies that bugged me a bit, though. Nothing that hurt the story overall. It had me guessing until the end.

I’ve taken 6 months to read this which is unheard of for me. Far too long and I found it incredibly painful to read and hated reading the in game chat messages. So different to her other books, disappointed after all the hype.

Bloody good! I loved reading this book and it didn't disappoint.Clever, well-written with twists and turns all over the place. And then there's Strike and Robin. I love those two.Can't wait to reread already!

4.5 stars and not 5 only because a good portion of the story is told anonymously and passively through internet chats, which started to bore me a bit. Otherwise, the latest book in the series had me literally reading on the bathroom floor until 2am because my bedside lamp kept my husband up and I HAD TO FINISH. I couldn’t put it down once I hit the 800 page mark. Thank, JK Rowling!
