I just needed something to distract me from the down spiral of our world right now and this did the job.

Another amazing book you must read.

Another amazing book by Kelsie Hoss. Before reading this one, I highly recommend you read the other two in this series even though this can be read as a stand-alone. I think I have wanted Rhett's book the most, and it did not disappoint. Here are just a few of my highlights that do not contain spoilers.

“I don’t understand you early birds, but my inner night owl salutes you.”

Rhonda turned and stared at me like I’d kicked a kitten. “Language, dear.”

“If you want to ch*ke me, you need to buy me dinner first,”

This girl was going to rule the world or burn it down one day; there was no in-between.

“You, me, dinner? That math equals date.”

“I’m kidnapped. I think I have time for the villain’s monologue.”

“You know, fear is just excitement’s ugly cousin.”

“You got a three-legged dog and named her Eileen.”

I love these two and I can't wait for the next book because Hello, more of these men falling head over heels for a plus sized FMC and more of the previous couples that you just can't get enough of. I highly recommend this book as well as the rest of the series.

I was not looking forward to reading this book, because Rhett had annoyed me so much in the previous book that I didn’t think he had earned that happy ever after. But as much as he annoyed me, I can’t believe how fast I fell for him in this book. And although Magnolia (Maggie) was my favorite character, I was rooting for their long-awaited happily ever after from the beginning. And while yes, ultimately this was a romance between Rhett & Maggie, it also had so much more than that. This book showed the importance of friendship and the importance of forgiveness even when someone you love hurts you. This was a beautifully written romance and I can’t wait to get into Knox’s story.

A bit cheesy and campy. Plus size FMC with HEA.
