Hmm... Like the rest of this series, it's a quick easy read. There are a few good plot twists, but they are somewhat predictable. Still, when you need something mindless to read a few chapters of before bed this series is perfect.

"The members of the Women's Murder Club face an unspeakable menace in the most suspenseful hospital drama since Coma. Lieutenant Lindsay Boxer is shopping with the newest member of the Women's Murder Club, lawyer Yuki Castellano, and Yuki's mother, Keiko, when suddenly Keiko collapses. She's rushed to San Francisco Medical Center where her condition stabilizes. Yet days later, the hospital calls Yuki with devastating news. Keiko was given the wrong medication and it brought on a fatal heart attack. Even more astonishing, this is not the first time SFMC has made this mistake. Just as patients are about to be released with a clean bill of health, their conditions take a mysterious turn for the worse. As the hospital comes under scrutiny, Lindsay and the Women's Murder Club investigate for themselves. Is there a maniac at work, playing God with people's lives? And has Lindsay somehow made him--or her--even worse? The newest addition to the top-selling new mystery series takes the Women's Murder Club into the most terrifying situation they have yet to encounter." (From Amazon)
I am not a big fan of Yuki. It is an okay novel with little suspense.

I was really excited to see this chapter in the Women's Murder Club being focused around healthcare (my profession). Although a sort of twisted side of healthcare. ;) It was a good story with a bit of a twist, in true James Patterson style. I really like 4th of July so the 5th book of the series had some big shoes to fill, which is why it's only getting 4 stars. I am excited to read the next book & see what happens to Lindsay Boxer!

SPEED DATING
First Thought When Finished: Seriously, this series has a bad case of the "to many cases" ADD!
First Date: I love the gals of the Women Murders Club so it was great to see them again. I like that they are drawing the lawyer closer and really embracing their roles. I love their dinners!
Second Date: How many cases do you need in a book? This has got to be one of the most annoying things about this series. There is just too much going on and something always has to give.
Third Date: Another quick wrap up *Sigh* I am hoping the next book just focuses on one case instead of two. I don't think it will but a girl can hope.
Audio Thoughts:
Carolyn did a fine job but the music additions kill me every time. This is the last one I have on audio so I will probably be switching to print after this one.
Final Thoughts: I love the characters but the series is not wowing me like it did in the beginning.
