I have been listening to this series as audiobooks instead of turning on the TV during the evenings. It is a bit like listening to Law & Order.
Didn’t finish. Just could not get into this particular book.
Fifth book in the Women's Murder Club series.
The San Francisco Municipal Hospital has become a dangerous place. A large number of people check in to the ER, start to recover, and then die unexpectedly. When Yuki's mother becomes the next victim, the women's murder club is back in action. Handsome, arrogant Dr. Dennis Garza is the prime suspect.
A subplot deals with a series of young girls who are raped and murdered and left in luxury cars.
Fast-paced with an ending that comes up a bit too quickly and little character development.

I listened to the audio version of the book via the Libby app.
I enjoyed the continuing saga of the Women's Murder Club and the relationships that continue to grow between the group. The writing isn't the most intense or amazing writing I have ever read, but I do enjoy these novels as a quick reset between deeper stories.

This fits perfectly into my definition of 3 stars: I enjoyed it, but it's not a book I'll ever re-read. If you like this sort of book, I think you'll enjoy it, too. If you don't enjoy the genre, this is not the book that's going to change your mind.
P.S. I gave book #4 in the Women's Murder Club series 4 stars because the series up to that point hadn't been very good and I expected that book to be so-so like the rest. It was a lot better than I expected. I like it when a book surprises me so I gave it 4 stars. I didn't give this one fewer stars because it wasn't as good, just because now I know what to expect. (I probably should have given them both 3 stars.)

Best in the series so far! Unexpected ending too!
What a great book, love this entire series. Really had me guessing til the end!
I'm quickly becoming addicted to this fast paced who done it series. The Women's Murder club is back in business and this time they are taking on a huge private hospital. Is it all just negligence or is it murder? That's what the women intend to find out. A quick easy read that I didn't want to put down. Can't wait to pick up book 6.
