This book screamed women empowerment. Sullivan writes his female characters so well! I’m really enjoying this series so far. Age of Swords was a necessary foundational step (I think) to lay more groundwork for what’s to come. The only chapters I truly disliked were the Frey prince’s POV. He was just so annoying! But he was our opening to what’s happening on that side.

I am so conflicted with this one yall. On one had, Sullivan had me blowing through it like it was nobody's business. On the other, I felt like "this is all" by the end of it? Do not get me wrong, I am so going to reading the next one, but I am so sad.
