Duuuudddeeee. Had to sit up from my reclined comfort and block out the world for this one.

Please commit to the whole series it’s worth it. I find myself a little confused from time to time, like I don’t have all the information but it makes sense eventually. Not your average predictable story.
I’m going to write this review for each book and those who have finished will understand why.

Still doing my re-read and I mostly enjoyed this installment.

The thing that keeps me reading is Violet. But not romantic Violet because she’s not the brightest when it comes to relationships. I like the strong Violet. The one who has had to be strong out of necessity and is honestly kind of good at it. She stood up for some *random* shifter out of principle. Something none of the alphas do. She was setting a precedent that Alphas don’t get to treat the little guy as disposable in their petty squabbles because they are living beings with emotions and families.

It was heartbreaking to read, too. I legit shed a couple of tears.

But I can’t give this story 5 stars and that really grinds my gears. The romance is super sub-par. The guys are clueless and basically tell Violet that she has to be with them because it’s what they want and she’ll fix them and, even when Violet should remain upset with them, she always caves. And it never is written in such a way as it seems like she loves them so much and can’t help but to give in. Rather, it sounds like it’s just the path of least resistance. And we’ve been told the “Simpleton” side of her guides her towards making sure everyone’s happy, so I’m left wondering if she actually wants this for herself or if she just feels like it’s what she should do because it not only makes the alphas happy but provides protection for the sanctuary.

Also, these things didn’t impact my rating but 1) Monstar Squad is an awful name and 2) so is Omega U because it sounds like a school for omegas rather than a sanctuary. If mentioned once, I might have ignored them but I saw these things multiple times like they were trying to make Fetch happen.

I’m over I*dun-dun-dunnnn* and so should be you.

Gypsy politics still boring but this book definitely gets extra star for Violet’s badassness and overall fun factor. I just love all the characters so much and I can’t believe there’s only one book left.

Little more spice, but not good quality. Story is good though. Guys are stupid, and took drastic measures to get their heads out of their butts. Guess who’s back!!!

So amazing!

I always have trouble reviewing the books I love, because all I have to say is:
“it was great”
“The characters are amazing and extremely well developed”
“The story is amezeballs”
“Everything about this is awesome”
So needles to say this installment was all of the above. This series has become one of my all time favorite, and if you haven’t yet, you need to read it!
