I loved this! I don’t understand GR reviews. It’s very witchy and the perfect fall book. I love that it has a bit of mystery - who is trying to destroy the town, who Derrick is affiliated with, etc. It’s fun, not overly serious, has great feminist themes.
I don’t love dual timelines or multiple voices but this was done in a way I didn’t find distracting.
Not a 5 star read because the ending was a bit anti climatic after the build up of the town disappearing if they didn’t fight it.
Narration was great!
