This one was much better. Not sure how this was really related to the rest of the series but at least it wasn't a character/name dump.

Well this time around we're back on Earth, and not too long after it was first destroyed. It's been a number of years for Arthur as he traveled through space, but it's only been a few months time on the renewed Earth. Arthur's got a new love interest this time around and she's just a little batty herself. Of course the best part of this book is still the most perfect goodbye message from the dolphis...So long and thanks for all the fish!

I enjoyed this book, but it is a more simplistic story than most of the previous trilogy. This was silly fun without as much of the underlying metaphors and the like. Still it was fun.

4/5 of the way through my re-read at the age of 42.

I think it's probably the most pointlessly rambling book of the series so far. Four stars, excellent stuff.
