When I first read the book description I wasn’t fully interested but figured why not give it a shot, all of Tessa Baileys books are *chefs kiss*
Within the first few pages I was laughing out load at the interactions between the MCs. No spoilers but the pigeons were hilarious. Both main characters were so likable and spice was as always, top notch. Def don’t sleep on this book, the plot alone is nothing amazon. Like nothing I’ve read before.

I tried the dark romance that includes stalking, kidnapping, etc. it was NFR.
What is for me is sexual desires that are negotiated before they happen. Role play that works for both partners and a man who gives the heroine exactly what she wants.
It’s also grumpy/sunshine. And a big sexy man.

For all the hype, it was just okay. I liked the consent and the Beauty and the Beast trope. I didn’t like that it felt dark. Not in the sense of a dark romance, but in the sense that the MMC’s life was SO depressing. And the fact that all his friends stayed friends with the woman who cheated on him??? Shame.

Amazing
This book was great. I enjoyed everything about it. I didn't ever find myself bored and skimming. I felt like the characters were so well-written, I really knew them. Highly recommend!

I was completely blown away by this book, I went in blindly and had zero expectations but it was way better than its rating on GR.
This a grumpy/sunshine, Beauty and the Beast inspired story with LOTS of spice. Autumn was funny and relatable and Blake was the hot perfect alphahole. Both main characters had a lot of growing to do and it was portrayed beautifully.
Even though the conflict was a result of miscommunication (a trope which I usually hate), everything felt right and I've enjoyed every page of the book.
And the spice...phew
