I vibed with this book, don’t get me wrong but there is something about the interpersonal relationship between our two main characters that just doesn’t 100% work for me. This is an enemies to lovers, academic fantasy book and we get a lot of the fantasy and academic but the graduation from enemies to lovers seems to be not really there for me. I’m almost confused as to how they got to the lovers part but that’s just me, again, personal preference. I will be reading the next book in this series because I do feel like we are finally gearing up for some intense action and I’m definitely excited

Loved this one more than the first one. It didn’t take as long to get going and get into it as the first. Medra and Blake…FINALLY!!! Now I can’t wait to see what happens to them in book three. Can it be a coincidence he turns into a dragon and she’s a dragon rider??
