I feel like this book cat fished me hahaha like there is really nothing dark academia or gothic or really interesting at all about this book. The characters lack depth, it dragged, and the plot just was a flop
Fell a little short of the mark, in my opinion. Interesting premise, though. Not necessarily a bad book, just not great. Story could have been fleshed out more and given more depth. Especially the romance. Maybe even round down to 2.5 stars.
