Adorable illustrations and a nice book to share in preparation for a vacation. If the illustrations were a bit simpler on some pages it would make a great storytime title.

My friend Niki has talked about how wonderful Yoon’s Penguin books are, but I hadn’t gotten my hands on one until now. After reading Penguin on Vacation, I can see why this character is one that is loved. He is curious, friendly, and cute. I also am a huge fan of Crab as he was there just as Penguin needed him. This book is a great celebration of odd frienships.

This is a really cute, clever story. An unlikely friendship, a penguin out of the arctic, hilarity ensues. Sweet story to share with my son.

There's a certain beauty and emotion to Yoon's books. With quiet brilliance, Yoon touches on the theme of friendship. A wonderful read.

I love Penguin! Can't wait to read more of these adorable stories!
