Meh. I took too many days to write this review after finishing it and I already forgot anything about it - if that gives you any idea of how forgettable this book was. I’ve read much better second chance / fake dating tropes… but I’ve also read worse.

I don’t mind a lighthearted romance novel, but this was not good. The plot was boring, the characters were not remotely likable or realistic. If I weren’t behind on my reading goal for the year I would have abandoned it a quarter way through.

i liked this one! levi and june were interesting main characters. sometimes their actions were questionable and not really explained but i liked their personalities and thought they fit well together.
i’m a sucker for a fake dating story and this was definitely one that i enjoyed! i could feel the chemistry between the MCs the entire time.
i don’t really have any feelings about the supporting characters tbh lol but it wasn’t a bad cast of characters

Just boring and overwritten and I could already tell the conflict was going to annoy me
This was an obvious love story that you can guess what kind of romance it will be. Yet that’s not the main focus of this story. This story is about regrets and dealing with grief. I think that alone is beautiful because we all have regrets and deal with it differently. It’s a diff story when regret and grief are combined and trying to figure out life. This is what this book is. Learning to deal with it and overcome it.
