This was a really cute romantic comedy! Basically the movie Palm Springs, but set on a college campus. Side note, I really love how Rachel Lynn Solomon’s characters never go to Ivy Leagues. They go to normal colleges and we need more representation of that. There’s fun time travel hijinks and the romance is a true slow burn. I really loved the main characters as well - it was easy to care about their predicament.
The only thing I didn’t like about the book was that there was a very typical-to-romcoms fight in the second act where one person severely overreacts and yet the other person who barely did anything wrong apologizes. Not my favorite trope, but that’s really a small complaint in the grand scheme of the book.

Great time loop story with deep character development! I appreciated the different representation (body type, religion, race) and how the characters grappled with older adolescent/young adult issues.

I don’t know why I thought at the beginning that I wouldn’t give this book 5 stars
I expected a cute funny little romance story buuut it had so much more depth and I loved that. I was giggling, kicking my feet, holding back tears and the last few pages ripped. my. heart. out.

Very very cute, but I feel like it could've been shorter and still had the same impact. Like there's a story that is told roughly 5 times with very little differentiation.
But! I could not stop reading this, so maybe the author did some things right

I WANT THIS MADE INTO A TV SERIES RIGHT NOW!!

What an absolutely delightful read! This book was not even on my radar, but when I had to fill a reading challenge slot with "time looping," this one came highly recommended, and with good reason.

College-aged characters are becoming more grating to my cranky, ageing sensibilities 🤣, but both Barrett & Miles were endearing in their ways, separately and together as their relationship grew, and they were oh-so relatable. Their insecurities and idiosyncrasies were realistic and I was rooting for both of them as they stumbled around trying to redefine their identities against their high-school selves all while trying to break free from the time-loop situation.

Cute, fun, and lovely. What more can I say!
