This book does an outstanding job of giving the reader the background into how Death Cast became a thing. It also showcases the importance of living every day as if it could be our last.

as a moral philosophy enjoyer i was very happy to see all the questions i’ve been wondering about the morality of death-cast be asked.  i was also very happy to see that they were not answered. typical moral philosophy.

Adam Silvera does it again. I cannot remember the last time I finished a 500 page book, let alone in under a month. I read “They Both Die at the End” and loved it and started reading this as a casual before bed read. I came to find out very quickly that I would be sucked into the world of Death-Cast once again, finding myself leaving work to go home so I could read more.

The story of ValentinOrion is absolutely riveting, and I love all of the references within the Death-Cast world of stories, but I thought I would make it through this one without needing a glass of wine and a good cry….. I was sorely mistaken.

This story is so pure and having so many connections to my personal experience of coming out and also a long distance sibling, it really hit home.

Wow. Just, wow. Thank you Adam, and I cannot wait to see what else you bring to this beautiful universe of humans learning to live their lives while they have the chance. <\3

Read this if you want a book that is pretty much the same as the first one.
