I loved this book as a teenager, and probably hadn't read it in 15-20 years, so it was time to revisit. Still awfully good, and several bits made me cry (even when I knew they were coming). I think a decent chunk of what I really know about World War I is from this book, as all my history classes somehow skipped it. (Yes, really.)
