I enjoy the occasional mystery.
Set on a film set in the UK and told from the perspective of three actresses who have all played a famous lady detective (storebrand Miss Marple) in movies/TV - there's a murder to solve on set and only these three women can get to the bottom of it by channelling their innate knowledge of ~~Agatha Christie~~ Dahlia Watson.
I like themes about fame so I enjoyed that the mystery solvers were all actresses! However, I did recommend this serious to my 67 year old British mother-in-law because she liked that book about the murder-solving retirees (I had to Google it: The Thursday Murder Club).
YMMV.
The emotional throughlines get a bit less compelling in the sequels.

Fun! Liked how it referenced the murder mystery genre and leaned into that specific british murder mystery ala Agatha Christie and her peers, along with the shows/movies inspired by them. Using actresses who've all played a specific fictional sleuth as the three main characters was a fun twist to the story and I enjoyed how they're characters and relationship with one another grew as the plot developed.

I don't usually like shifting perspectives but it felt quite well done here; we aren't constantly bounced around from one POV to another, but allowed to settle into them for a while before we settle into another.

A fun premise and good execution.
