Writing this as of December 2023, all I recall is that I enjoyed reading the story, liked Adrian's character, and was highly satisfied when my theory was proven to be right. It was kinda obvious (because there couldn't have been any other reason) but the pleasure was all the same.

Hmmm is the main character crazy?

This whole book is a f*cked up version of Stockholm syndrome meets memory loss. That or multiple personalities,

I’m not sure what, but I haven’t decided if I like this trilogy or not yet. I will say that this book kept me on my toes for a lot of it, but there are holes that confused me until the end. Maybe that makes for a good book? We will see how it goes in book 2.
