The first book really didn't have a huge plot. This filled in a couple holes but not much.
This book was predictable and it would have been nice to see the ex boyfriend Bobby team up with Carlos in the kidnapping.
Everything was just repetitive sex scenes over and over.
Everything the MMC Spoke to Jax his right hand man they called eachother amigo. Every once in a while that's okay but every damn line is super ANNOYING.
The MMC kept calling the FMC princess every damn line too. We are adults reading this book. We know that they are talking to eachother. I understand term of endearment but wow.
Epub version did not have quotations for when people spoke which may have been a typo but I wish it did. I don't blame the author for that though.
While Alana was gone she bit a man's penis off. When she spoke about it with the mmc she called it his "thing"

It was just ish… the sex was ish, the plot was ish and I just couldn’t enjoy the book without a mediocre sex scene showing up mid chapter or mid conversation. I genuinely believe this couple would not survive the real world. That being said this series will get you out of a slump.
