Love me a good smutty read with a morally gray man and a bunch of red flags.
i need to rant cz it took me 22 days to finish this book and let me tell you it was a struggle:
1) SEX IS NOT THE ANSWER TO EVERYTHING LIKE MY GOD WHY TF ARE THEY DOING IT EVERY CHAPTER LIKE I LOVE GOOD SMUT BUT THIS WAS TOO MUCH NO TENSION NO NOTHING IT BORED ME AFTER A WHILE EVEN IN THE FIRST BOOK IT WAS ARRANGED MARRIAGE, ENEMIES TO LOVERS AND THEY JUST DIRECTLY HAD SEX WHAT WAS THAT ABOUT
2) WHY DOES SHE ALWAYS FORGIVE HIM SO FAST LIKE MY GOD GURL U HAVE EVERY RIGHT TO BE MAD AT HIM BUT ITS LIKE HE TAKES OFF HIS PANTS AND SUDDENLY U LOSE ALL SELF RESPECT SIS STAND UP FOR YOURSELF FOR THE LOVE OF GOD
3) just because it means “good girl” doesn’t mean it sounds sexy like everytime he said “buena chica” it ruined the mood for me fr like everything else he said in spanish was hot but let’s keep good girl, good girl
4) WHY TF WOULD THEY ADOPT HIS ALMOST 18 YEAR OLD COUSIN UMM THATS JUST WEIRD AND THEN CALL HER KID THEIR GRANDCHILD WHAT

Wow. That took some time to finish. After finishing the first one, I IMMEDIATELY need to start this one. Around 70% it felt dragging a bit. But then I got it and the rest was quick.
My one main and only problem was Alejandro. Not him per say, more like his vocabulary. Now I speak Spanish, I’m Mexican American, do I have no problem with adding Spanish dialogue.
What bothered me was how much he used cabrón. Holy Jesus, what that his favorite word or something?? Spice it up. I know he said a couple of “hijo de putas” in there. Maybe a “puto” here and there. “Coño” a few times. But spice it up. Like 80% of his insults were “Cabrón”

I love this I really did!!!! The smut scenes were 10 out of 10 all of them I was here for all of it his job her job the storyline of her not being able to have kids I loved all of it and I think I’m mixing both books together so beware but both books were amazing totally worth the read I’m about to read the last one and I can’t wait!!!

Again kinda like the first one this was so so good we stayed with the same couple but this one had more story in it and actually gave the charchters something to do I really did enjoy this one a little bit more then the first but again really good read

This book was mediocre, I don’t have much to say about it, but I did just need to complain about the cover. MC goes on about how she’s a curvy woman, how her husband’s “model thin” exes makes her feel insecure blah blah blah and then you put a “model thin” woman on the cover??? This bothered me more than it should’ve lol
I like this one better than the first one but there was still a bunch of miscommunication between them. the tension was so much better in this one too like on the edge of my seat (technically bed) good. I loved the ending it was so adorable and sweet.
Finished it but will not end the series i got bored and the plot twist was predictable
