Fierce Queen

emotional mysterious medium-paced

I listened to the audiobook on Audible. I’m grateful that they used the same narrators! The narrators are fantastic and made the story better.

This book had the same feel as the first. Low angst, not dark (maybe light grey at best), and the characters really didn’t develop that much in the book.

Again, this had a lot of spicy scenes but they weren’t graphic, which felt useless. Yes, they did it twice a day… This became repetitive.

Overall this story is okay. I would recommend it if you had free access but I wouldn’t spend money on it.

I'm not entirely sure why I even finished this because I really didn't like it. Whatever positives existed in the first book, they were absent in this book. The plot literally jumped from thing to thing, just trying to stay super exciting. They fought and made up way too many times and way too quickly. I was just really disappointed because this plot and romance had so much potential.

If Fierce King was intense, Fierce Queen cranked everything up a notch—more action, more drama, more steamy tension that had me hooked. Alejandro and our queen brought it in this book, and I was here for every second.
Our girl is no damsel in distress—she’s fierce, independent, and constantly proves she belongs in Alejandro’s world, not just as his wife, but as his equal. And Alejandro? Yeah, he might be dangerous and controlling, but he’s also completely gone for her, even when he’s trying to pretend otherwise.
Now, as soon as Alejandro started explaining how she should react in case of a kidnapping, a little warning light went off in my head. I had a feeling something was coming… and while I guessed Alana might be taken, I did not expect her to be kidnapped alongside Lucy—or the shocking reveals about Lucy’s true identity and who was actually behind the whole thing. That twist? So good.
And that epilogue? Chef’s kiss. Now, onto the next book—I need to see how Lucia’s story unfolds!

amazing

Impossible to put down. Read it as soon as I finished book one. Finished in one sitting. Alana was so fierce and strong!

4.5 Stars I liked this one just as much as the first, I enjoyed the family plotline and addition of Lucia. Only reason I gave this 4.5 was because I liked the 2nd duet a bit more.

Okay this is the one of the best books I have read by Sadie Kincaid. OMG the twists. It was an emotional rollercoaster in the best way. I loved this book and I can not wait to see what the next book has in store
