I think we should all collectively agree that the male saviour narrative is garbage and should be left in the 1600s. Stop filling teenagers' heads with this nonsense. 

I think the exploration of tourettes in teens is useful, seeing a character struggle with trying to hide it unsuccessfully and then being encouraged to let her ticks out is a good example of acceptance and liberation.

I wish it wasn't just YA books that can easily integrate poetry into their storytelling. Grown-ups like poems too!

But honestly, I think I'm giving up YA fiction. Bored.
