I think I can relate to Emma the most of all the Peloton instructors. Growing up Asian was very different. I loved her passion and love for her family. She said her vulnerabilities, which some I can relate to. I think reading this gave me the inspiration to do the things I love. Taking a moment to just reflect, despite the hustle world and distractions.

As a Peloton obsessed individual, I love Emma. This was a cute (and very short) little book and I feel like I know her even better now.

I always feel odd rating autobiographies because I don't want to say, "your life is boring, 2 stars". But, you can pretty much get what you expect from this. What Emma's life was like growing up on Martha's Vineyard, the backstory of how her parents met, the challenges of growing up as a mixed heritage child and never really "fitting in". There's her college, Peloton, relationship, etc. I enjoyed it but if you're not really invested in her as an individual or the Peloton community, it may not interest you.

I listened to this book, and it was sweet. It had thoughtful takeaways, but overall just seemed like it could have gone deeper. The writing didn’t grab me, but the stories had a nice variety. This author has more to mine of her life and experiences, so I guess I was a little disappointed overall in the writing and depth of what was presented.
