This was a really interesting read on the link between nature and folklore around the world. There was a diverse range of folklore discussed and I enjoyed the occasional telling of a tale too. I did however find the content sometimes to be a bit out of sync. The author would be talking about one thing, talk about another and then go back to the original point without any connections. I found that to be confusion at times and took me out of my concentration.
Overall, I learnt a lot from the book but it could be improved by smoother writing.

I enjoyed this reading experience because it's a quick, easy, and light read, brushing over a lot of topics in quick succession. It did leave me wanting a little more information, unfortunately, but was still enjoyable.
