This was a great read that was very fast paced. I ended up reading it in 1 day.

The entire time you keep guessing who it was and the plot twist was amazing.
It defines took a while and it felt like things just kept nagging on, so that it would fill pages till we found out the real killer.
I loved the main characters and actually cared about them and their story lines.
Good YA mystery

An easy read and a fun mystery. The ending was satisfying, although I hate Nate the rest of the characters are good. Exactly the kind of book I was looking for.

This one has been on my TBR shelf for literally YEARS, and I'm so glad I finally got around to it because it was a fantastic read. Writing multiple POVs well is a tricky task, but Karen McManus does it brilliantly, and has you really rooting for all four suspects, despite their flaws. Although I guessed the culprit before the reveal, there were still plenty of twists and turns that kept me gripped throughout, and the growth each character went through during their personal journeys was wonderful and heart-warming

Hooked from the first few chapters!! The plot was very captivating with great characters and their own development throughout. I got so into it I finished it in 24 hours 😅

  • 3.75 ⭐️ because it was a very enjoyable read, but felt that the story and characters were quite basic and nothing new.
  • Re: the pacing, I felt that the reveal of the killer was rushed and just thrown in the reader’s face in one big blob of an explanation.
  • I also thought it would’ve been better if
the 4 main characters were actually involved in figuring out and catching the ones actually involved in the crime. Instead, it was just cooper and addy while Nate was in jail and bronwyn was just not there
  • Characters were pretty well fleshed out but still left more to be desired I felt.
  • Overall I feel meh about this story. It was fun, but didn’t have much of an impact and wasn’t as intense as I thought it would/could be. Struggling a bit to think of anything more to say about this book. I guess I will check out the sequel.
