This book was so surprising! I found the depiction of grief to be so devastating and real, and I found myself in tears more than once 😭😭 sometimes bennet drove me nuts, but I can also see why she acted the way she did. I LOVED Henry & found him so sweet. I
Also really enjoyed seeing everything they did for the Passion Project & now I want to do the same. I wish we got a ~little~ more romance but overall, this was a great read 🩷

Currently facing an existential crisis of trying to find out what I like and don't like, so found the characters to be highly relatable. The third act break up annoyed me, but was overall a fun and relatable read.

I loved this one so much! I pretty much binged it in a day. I just couldn’t stop listening! Alex Finke is an amazing narrator. This story was just so sweet. It handles the topic of grief so well. I found myself tearing up multiple times through the book. I just loved our MMC, Henry. It was so fun to see all of the ‘passions’ he and Bennett explored. I really loved seeing how Henry was able to help Bennett through her grief and find herself after loss. I’m so impressed by this debut! Highly recommend checking this one out!

This story is a friends to lovers trope. After Bennet loses the love of her life she  comes to NYC to live with her gay childhood best friend, Sonya. Bennet is suffering from grief, depression, anxiety and guilt. Her roommate sees Bennet suffering and thinks let me set her up with a guy. That guy is Henry and he is wonderful. He is wonderful and Bennet is annoying, not because of her issues. She makes poor choices and one of them is when she lies. Lying is one of my pet peeves. I hate it, so when she does, it put a negative specter on the story. The author pulls it all together, but it was a lazy way to go about it. The mental health representation was done well. The setting was like another character. NYC is an amazing city to explore. The food, people and even the touristy places were beautifully described. Overall I recommend this novel.
