This was a really intriguing book! I love the idea of living underwater (though there goes my idea for my NaNoWriMo novel... oh well. :P) and the way the whole story was organized was great. Definitely a book I would read again.

I liked this book. It was interesting and had a few twists in the plot I didn't see coming. Not too long though (under 300 pages) and only takes a few days to read. The thought of living underwater is interesting...

Full of good, clean action. I thought this was a fun read.

DNF on page 37. It was probably me on this, but I couldn't get into it. Gemma in particular comes across as annoying, and Ty is kind of flat. Maybe I'm a quitter, but I'd rather spend time on a book with characters I enjoy reading.

This was an entertaining listen for a family road trip, opening conversations about life subsea, and alternate realities. The plot points were predictable and the writing what I have come I expect of middle-grade fiction, and yet we enjoyed it right to the end and will no doubt listen to the next time we have 7 hours to kill, better subsea than coasting down the highway.

Really enjoyable, especially once the plot starts rolling. An essential MG sci-fi
