Loved Dom and his POV was perfection. I loved knowing what was going on in his head in his time with Cecilia. This book explains so much that I needed to know in the Ravenhood series. So good!

Kate really said she wanted to destroy us all over again with this book, and wow… she did a damn good job of it. I’m a mess once again over these characters and honestly shouldn’t be surprised after the masterpiece that was The Ravenhood Trilogy. But here I am, gut-punched for shits, giggles, and a mess of tears dried to my face.
This book was everything we needed, despite the repetition of pain we’d already gone through to get here. I loved every minute of it and was genuinely surprised (and so grateful) for the additional depth this POV gave us.
Now the question is… do I dare move on to Severed Heart? Will it break my heart all over again? I’d be shocked if it doesn’t.
Also, a huge thank you to Joe Arden and Maxine Mitchell for being such insanely talented narrators. The way they breathe so much life and connection into these characters might just be the cherry on top of all my emotions.

OMG... This closes the loop on so many questions left unanswered in Flock and Exodus and a little from The Finish Line. You thought Exodus was sad, and heart breaking... Lemme tell you what, leading up to THAT scene... This will rip a whole new hole in your heart. So perfect.

Well don’t you just sob uncontrollably for the last 40 or so pages of this

I’m at a loss for words on how devastatingly beautiful this book is. Finally getting to see how everything unfolded behind Dom’s eyes and through his POV, tore me wide open. His thoughts, struggles, loyalty, strength and ability to try and do right by those he loved was so moving. Watching him come alive with Cecelia and how her love changed him had me in tears through most of this book.

Feeling all of his emotions through certain parts of the story had me sobbing so hard I had to pause more than once and grab several tissues! Even though we knew what was coming because of the Ravenhood trilogy, it’s his understanding of all of it and the things that he put in motion that made him so brilliant. And also made it all that much more brutal to read again. His love for Cecelia and his brothers had my heart in a constant state of shattering and being glued back together. Thank you for giving us his beautiful POV. This book was everything. 💕
