I will write a review later, much too late past midnight.
I liked reading this but, for some reason, I was not able to finish it. I think I've read 1/4 of it but somehow unable to go back to reading this book :(
It's too slow and somewhat boring. I just couldn't get into it

Tahle knížka byla příjemné překvapení! :) Autorka píše poeticky a lehce, je to vážně nádhera. Moc jsem si její styl psaní oblíbila a jdu číst druhý díl :)*
I was a bit disappointed. This is much more of a teen romance and not as much of a let's go change/fix this sorry world. It did get better by the end so I will probably read the rest of the series at some point.
I am torn....I really liked the story and the idea behind the story, but I feel as if it has been told before. I enjoy the concept of the book with the idea of a perfect society where things are made so everything is perfect. Our matches are picked for us, we don't have to suffer in death. But with that is the lack of free will, of freedom, of choice.
I just feel that it is similar to the Hunger Games and maybe other books. There is the love triangle with boy that you feel you should be with and the one you want to be with (being the one that Society does not think is right for you). And then there is the choice and the struggling with it. However in this book there really is not suppose to be a choice and that leads to a problem. Big brother is always watching and having your own thoughts could be bad.
I can't wait to see if this series takes the shape of the others or finds a way to become its own.

I already can see it isn't my thing (mirror description) and first person POV. Probably I'm too old reader for this book.
