That was amazing with a huge twist at the end. I can't wait to start the next one. I can't believe the next book is the last one. These characters feel like family at this point. I'm not ready for this series to be over with.

FINALLY!!!! THE ANSWER WE HAVE ALL BEEN WAITING FOR!!!!
At the and of "Taken at Dusk" we finally find out what Kylie is, and of course it is far more complex than anyone had thought. Though she now knows what she is, Kylie is still unsure of all that it entails. The only one who can answer her questions is her grandfather, who just happens to think the best thing for Kylie is to leave the one place she has called home. What's worse is that this may turn out to be the only choice for Kylie to make if she is ever going to fully understand exactly what she is and how to hone her expanding abilities.
Much more drama unfolds in this fourth segment of my favorite "Shadow Falls" Series.
Suspicions are thrown, loyalties are tested, and love is pushed to its breaking point. This is a must read book in an outstanding series.
SO READ IT!!! <3

It was a fun story. Had I read this in middle or high school I could see this being a comfort read that I come back to. You can tell it was written in the 2000s era so be prepared for a slower pacing, multiple books that could be condensed, and the 2000s writing pattern.

Well, first half of the book was 3 stars, and second half - 5 stars, so 4 it is. At first the pacing was slow and the plot was in limbo, but in the second part both action and romantic lines began to develop quickly and the end was very exciting with a promise of a very interesting sequel.
