Ugh. Such mixed feelings. I like this author so far, who I discovered with this series. I actually don’t know if she’s written more than this series now that I say that, but these books don’t read like a new author. I like the guys in the brotherhood, and the supporting cast of characters. But one of the reasons why I enjoy MM so much is no surprise pregnancy tropes and the epilogue rarely has the 2.5 kids. Sometimes but it’s not assumed. This book not only has the “surprise” kid, but also has a line questioning how someone who never wanted kids wouldn’t change their mind after spending time with one. This was OBVIOUSLY not written by someone who doesn’t want kids or even talked seriously to someone who felt that way because it’s condescending and small minded. Two stars off for narrow minded thinking about free choice, which is pretty freaking ironic in an MM romance. If that doesn’t offend you the romance was good and the story felt like an important part of the overall series so I kept reading.
I felt like I wasted one of my Audible credits on this considering I’ve never dnf’d an audio book before
It just felt like it was dragging SO MUCH. The relationship, the custody decision, the fact that Dev was holding out on his money when that would help with getting him custody.
The relationship between Tully and Dev just kinda fell flat for me.
ALSO I love mm romance books when kids are involved but I just felt like Lellie was too young to actually add anything to the story.

Books heavily featuring kids are not likely to ever be my favorite but this was enjoyable enough. I am definitely invested in the HEA's of the Brotherhood.

LOVE IT as usual . it wasnt as romance focused as the previous books because its more about dev facing his fears on actually being a father with tully more than it is about them loving each other which was already a given with their past.
I JUST REALIZED I KNOW TULLY WAS INTRODUCED TO THE BOYS AND KNOWS DEV IS RICH BUT HE WASNT GIVEN THE” tully…im rich. like BILLIONAIRE rich” TALK. what are we doing here america.
