No diría ¡compradlo! pero yo lo he leído de la biblioteca y me lo he pasado genial. Son todos tan intensos, tan expresivos, que resulta catártico frente a la contención de la obra original.

Beautiful artwork and wonderfully rendered. I love manga and I love Sense and Sensibility, so this one was an obvious delight. The story was wonderfully crafted, with all the important plot points displayed accurately. I enjoyed the depiction of the characters and the pacing of the story. I truly enjoy that this was made into a manga and I hope to enjoy more classics like this in the future.

Me ha encantado. Los dibujos no pueden ser más bonitos. Muy fiel a la novela de Jane Austen. La madre aquí, está caracterizada de una forma muy graciosa. Darcy súper guapo y enigmático. He disfrutado mucho este manga.

Sense and Sensibility was the second Austen book that I ever read. I picked it up after Pride and Prejudice, in my high school years, thinking it would be similar. I quickly learned that while Jane Austen has a distinct "voice", each of her stories is unique and engaging in completely different ways.

Probably, one of my favorites of her works, Sense and Sensibility, is a delightful read that evokes many emotions. I will say that, the manga edition was an incredibly enjoyable version of the story and I'm glad to have read it.

Although, this is one, that I believe everyone should read the original at least once.

Christine @ Captivated Reading

The manga version of 'Sense and Sensibility' by Jane Austen is much like the 'Pride and Prejudice' manga. Both are drawn in a shojo style that takes from the classic style of the manga genre and thereby introduces readers not only to classic English literature, but classic Japanese manga styles. It's cutesy and makes all the heroines and their knights beautiful, with setting that compliment their characters. Reading the manga version of this story allowed me to glean things I hadn't noticed in the story before; this is comic theory known as 'amplification through simplification' and basically means that by taking out the hard to read writing style of classic English and replacing it with manga, the story's meaning is amplified. I believe this is why many readers will love this manga as much as they've loved Jane Austen's original works.

I have not read the original version of this book and probably won't because I am not a huge fan of classic novels. This is a story of two sisters and their romantic relationships. Both believe that they have found love, only for it not to be. They eventually find love with other people. #NetGalley

I would have love the manga with colors but it was a nice reading anyway.

Mi sarebbe piaciuto di piú se il manga fosse stato a colori, ma mi sono divertita lo stesso.

THANKS TO NETGALLEY FOR THE PREVIEW!

I highly recommend this book. The art is gorgeous and it shows integrity to the original story. Enjoyable and worth the read on it's own, it could also serve as a jumping of point to better understand the actual writing of Jane Austen.
