I found this book last summer while browsing Half Price Books. I recognized the title as a book often recommendation in my FB book group so thought I would give it a try.

While semi-interesting, I couldn't really get into it. I wanted to love it because I've seen it recommended so many times but I thought it was just an ok book.

A mellow journey through various daily mysteries in the lives of villagers in Botswana. There's such a laid back feeling of African life represented in these stories. Easy reading. I'm looking forward to reading more in this series.

I'm surprised that I hadn't read this book sooner, not sure what I thought it was about, but it turned out to be better than I expected. Mma Ramotswe is such a likable character, I will definitely want to revisit this series.
