It was a beautifully written story that I just couldn’t put down. Two-thirds of it were kept at a great pace, but I was a bit disappointed that the last third had a lot of jumping in time, I would’ve liked to read more.

If you're looking for a devastatingly good book to cry to, this is the one for you.

The book is a fairly straightforward read, after all there is nothing complicated about it, nor is there any kind of plot twist that changes the tone, but unfortunately its structure leaves too many narrative points open that make the story feel incredibly unfinished.

Perhaps it can be argued that this is how it happens in life itself, but when you leave almost everything you're creating up to the reader's interpretation, it's inevitable that the reader will feel like you didn't do all the work. At least that's how it happened to me.
