There was no substance. It was cheesy.

Very wordy - lot of long meaningful internal monologues and dialogue. But I still really liked it because it is reclaiming camp space for queer folks. I wish camp had been two weeks, not one.

Not giving this a star rating because I fear I'm in a reading slump and it's a "it's me, not you" situation.

With that said, I did have fun reading this story! The idea of a super queer summer camp for adults sounds like a dream. I'm usually a fan of magic realism, but feel like it could've been left out of this one! If insta-love isn't your jam, this book isn't for you.

Overall, I would recommend this to anyone looking for a sweet queer summer read.
