I could not put this book down. OMG. LOVED IT!
Amazing chemistry between the FMC/MMC and loved the banter. Sweet, spicy, emotional and everything in between. "We're velcro."

HUGE thank you to Valerie Pepper for giving me the opportunity to be an ARC reader for this book!
This was the perfect small town romance, with lots of sweet & spicy! Coming from a former barista in a small town, the representation of the coffeeshop was spot-on. I loved the character development and growth throughout the book in Price and Jodi. I felt all the emotions reading this: I laughed, I blushed, I empathized. I also love that it was written in dual narrative, being able to see the inner monologues.
This was my first Valerie Pepper book. I’m so excited to go back and read the first in the series, and can’t wait for the next book! I’m a definite new fan of her work!

I had the absolute pleasure of reading this as an ARC and it’s one of my new favorites. I’m definitely a mood reader and this warmed my soul.
Price- the golden retriever firefighter that no one takes seriously in life who is trying his best to turn it around and be taken seriously by the world.
Jodi- the 27 year old coffee shop owning virgin who has been crushing on Price FOREVER. And she’s not as shy as she thinks she is.
The spice was NEXT LEVEL. There’s delicious dirty talk, and made me heat up while reading.
This is also so funny and cute. I found myself giggling and laughing out loud while reading.
This will go on my physical shelf to remember ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This is book # 2 in her "Guided to Love" series & I am in love.
First of all, the coffee shop owner, Jodi, is amazing. She's sweet, kind, shy, and determined, and she has had a crush on the same man for about 20 years. She's always been in the shadows, lived her life unseen.
Price is the town hottie, the town prize, the one everyone wants a taste of. He is a firefighter and business owner, and he secretly models for the covers of smutty reads.
These two finally come together.
Price finally notices her. Finally, she sees her & he can't be happier.
I love Price so much - he is viewed as a happy go lucky golden retriever-esque man whore by everyone. Except that's not really him at all. Only Jodi can see that there is more to him.
Also. Aaron was great in book 1, but he was kind of a douche canoe in book 2. I was very disappointed by his behavior. I understand the reasoning behind the author portraying that behavior, but with everything that he went through with Devon, he should already understand that looks can be deceiving.
Looking forward to Wills story

ARC Review!
This dual POV contemporary romance forms part of the "Guided to Love" series, and while it is the second book in the series, it can be read as a standalone.
In a small town where everybody knows everybody, Jodi is the proud owner of a quaint coffee shop, serving as the epicentre for the town's gossip. Close by is the fire station, where the three Joseph brothers serve their town. Among the eldest, Will and Price have purchased a house and are in the process of transforming it into a bed and breakfast.
When an electrical fire leaves Jodi homeless, she is offered a room at the yet-to-officially-open B&B, making her their very first guest. It is now that Price, the middle brother, begins to truly see Jodi for who she is. Meanwhile, Jodi had secretly crushed on Price for years.
Jodi is a people-pleaser, struggling with many insecurities and familial challenges. When Price starts expressing his interest for her, her doubts set in, leading her to wonder whether his feelings for her are genuine or if she's just another fling.
Price, on the other hand, sets out to prove that he is more than just his good looks, but also possesses intelligence, and he's ready to take on more responsibilities at the fire station. For years, he had maintained a secret career in modelling for book covers, which earned him enough to invest significantly in the B&B. Misconceptions about his true intentions persist, with people still doubting his genuine commitment to Jodi and taking on greater responsibilities.
If you enjoy reading spicy small town romances, the story of Jodi and Price will surely pique your interest. As they deal with challenges that come their way, you will witness how their feelings for each other deepen and how their relationship starts to grow.
And finally, if you're a fan of a super-grumpy MMC, make sure to watch out for book 3, featuring the story of Will, the eldest Joseph brother.

Honest ARC Review! I could not stop reading this book! There were moments were I literally laughed out loud and swooning because Price is so heart melting. I wish the emotional moments were a little more dramatic but overall enjoyed it all! I like how the character development felt organic and not rushed.
