Wow White does it again. I first read the Maids Diary by her and fell in love. Instantly had to read another thriller by her. This definitely lived up to the expectations I had, listened and binged this on audiobook within 2 days. The character development of Chloe was one of my favorites for a thriller and had twists in her storyline I didn’t see coming. I almost wish more harm came to the wife; but a life broke and alone is a sad and slow one. So in the end she got what was coming for sure.

Great thriller. I saw a few of the twists coming but I still had a great time listening to the audiobook and had trouble not just reading the whole thing in one go.

Enjoyed this one! It took me awhile to read this, not because of the story itself, but due to being extremely busy. I love reading domestic psychological thrillers so this was right up my alley!
This story goes between the POV of 3 different characters. Each chapter is a single character's perspective. There are also dual timelines or flashbacks throughout. I love books with multiple perspectives where the characters end up being intertwined in some way and this is exactly what Ms. Jewell gives us!
The plot kept me intrigued and left me wondering at times. There were certain parts of the book I did expect and others parts that were a complete surprise! The way in which the author writes the story does leave you wondering what is going to happen next.
This book is the first in a duology. I will definitely be reading the next book soon!

I couldn't resist picking up "The Swimmer" as soon as I laid my eyes on its captivating cover!
Jemma and Adam's journey to start anew tugged at my heartstrings. Their hardships were heart-wrenching, and then the plot took unexpected turns.
This book is absolutely gripping, and the audiobook narrator skillfully captures the whirlwind of emotions. This is my first time plunging into this author's work, and I'm completely hooked. I'll be watching for all upcoming releases, and I'm tempted to put everything else on hold and dive into her entire collection; she's that good!
If you're a fan of revenge thrillers, you absolutely can't miss this one. The conclusion is one of the most satisfying I've read!! You can grab it on Kindle Unlimited.
