Honestly, I didn’t think I was gonna continue with this series after this book but holy hell… how can the author end a book like that? It’s almost cruel

not as good at the first one. hated the last page. “i love you, but i love him too” is WILD considering that Grim launched attacks against Lightlark and killed people for no reason — why didn’t he just at least ATTEMPT to idk EXPLAIN why they needed that portal in the Wild Isle. will still be reading Skyshade, still team Oro, still know the Oracles prophecy will break my heart regardless

Let me just say I did really like the book however… it felt to me like a filler book through the entire book, and the romance was good, character development was important but why did we only get real plot in the last 80 pages. Will defo be continuing but hope that the next one isn’t just filled with flashbacks and romance, I’m reading a fantasy so I expect there to be Fantasy!!
