DNF - Chapter 6.
I'm not an animal person. And just too much animal talk for me. Ugh. FMC going to school to become a vet. I just don't care.

Audio review:
I loved James and Sophie’s story.
Her fire and sass, his zero effs attitude and his gentlemanly ways.
Aiden and Melissa did a fabulous job with narration, I’m going to dive into the next audiobook for sure!

**I received a copy of Buck Wild from Montlake Press and Net Galley in exchange for a voluntary and honest review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.**

Buck Wild by Lauren Landish is the first book in her Bennett Boys Ranch series. I have read one other book by the author but this one is a new series. I did love the story and give it a hearty 4 star rating.

Sophie Stone is in the midst of her summer internship with the local vet Doc Jones when she gets to attend her first foal being born at the Bennett Ranch. Her first meeting with James isn't as pleasant because of the type of birth but both move onto getting to know each other. Sophie parents were killed when she was a child and her brother raised her. With James and his family especially Mama Lou she'll find a family she's always wanted. When the summer ends will she stay or go to the Vet school to finish her studies?

James Bennett loves being a bull rider more than anything but when his father passes and he comes home for the summer will he decide that its time to set aside wild ways and help with the ranch with his brothers. When he meets Sophie the wanderlust that he's had for years will have him questioning that maybe its time to go out on top. There will be a feud with the Tannen's next door and a lot of hot sexy Sophie in his summer before he'll finally make his mind up. But it's Doc Jones (Think Dr. Pol) and Mama Lou that will make the store just a bit better.

This cow boy story was a good one. This author really brought these characters out and made the story stand out. I highly enjoyed this book.

This was a hot, steamy, and quick read that I enjoyed from beginning to end. James is a rodeo champ that has come home for the summer to help with his family's ranch and Sophie is working with the local vet doing an internship for the summer. When they first meet sparks fly and not the romantic kind of sparks but angry sparks as they kind of argue but then they resolve their issues and become close. James is sexy and alpha but has respect for women and loves hard. Sophie is sweet, a hard worker, and can be wild at times. I enjoyed their story and want to read the others brothers stories asap.

Sweet cowboy romance

This book is about a cowboy who falls in love with a to-be veterinarian. There’s no struggle, no strife, it’s just pure romance. If that’s your kind of book, then go for it. If you like some action/adventure, then this isn’t your cup of tea.

There are some good sex scenes to get you hot and bothered. They’re well written and enjoyable.

I don’t think I’m going to intentionally read the other books in this series. I like the characters and the book was good, but there wasn’t a climax to the book. Lots of human climaxes, but the book was really lacking in action. Boy meets girl, they fall in love with each other, they live happily ever after. I need more as a reader. I like that strife/climax in a book. Happy reading y’all!!
