Many short stories. Some were great, some were meh (IMO).

It took me soooo long to finish this compilation of short stories, but it was not for lack of interest - it got buried in boxes and I only unearthed it recently, and set to finish it.
This collection of stories is not my favourite SK book by far, but I enjoyed reading bits and pieces from the King himself. I'll admit that I might not have finished it back when I first started reading it because I did not feel the same pull as other SK work had on me.
The best part of this one is probably getting an insight into the author's creative process, and how everyday scenes could inspire him to write creepy and/or tragic stories. In truth, it made me want to revisit King's back catalogue for a fleshed-out story that would better feed my cravings for horror and the extraordinary.
As always, long live the King.

Really enjoyed this (even if the last story made me tear up). A really interesting mix of stories, I’m growing to love King’s short story collections more and more with each new one I read. I did skip the poems though, they’re not for me
It isn't that it's bad because it's not. I just don't particularly feel like reading this right now. I'll probably pick it up at a later stage and finish off the stories I haven't read already.

Mile 81 - cool story, but don't know if the boy who got drunk and passed out was really necesarry
Premium Harmony - short, easy, bit forgettable
Batman and Robin Have an Altercation - This was nice
The Dune - loved the ending, the rest of the book was a bit average
Bad Little Kid - Probably the best in the collection. A solid story.
A Death - SO forgettable
The Bone Church - Love Stephen King, but he needs to stop writing poetry
Morality - Cool story
Afterlife - fun, but I feel like I've read it before
Ur - This was really cool
Herman Wouk Is Still Alive - Good character work, really impactful
Under the Weather - So well executed
Blockade Billy - I REALLY don't care about baseball
Mister Yummy - A filler story
Tommy - Like, REALLY needs to stop writing poetry
The Little Green God of Agony - This one SUCKS
That Bus Is Another World - Cool idea, poor execution
Obits - Cool idea, but it didn't go anywhere really
Drunken Fireworks - meh
Summer Thunder - I didn't really get what it was about until the end, but when I got it, it was cool.
OVERALL
This is probably the worst collection of his I have read. Whilst there were good stories, they were few and far-between, and there weren't any stories that really stood out or blew me away. But I loved the author notes he had at the start of each story.
