Ain't no drama like The Royals drama cause The Royals drama don't stop!
Would you like an extra side of drama with your drama?! Ahhhhh, I just can't get enough of this family! Damn, another great one. For reals.
Just when you think there couldn't be anything else that could possibly happen, because you're kinda tapped out on the shit storm that is their life....there's more! Whaaaa?! Some people just don't want or care for high school crap, because come on, we're adults and high school was so like 20 years ago (for some). But not this girl. Bring it. Bring all of it. My fake world loves it! Loves it hard. I'm 100% invested in this dysfunctional family and I care about all of them. And that my friends, to me, is outstanding writing! I'm rooting for this family that is pretty much based on lies, secrets and betrayals. But now they need to pull a 3 Musketeers “All for one and one for all, united we stand divided we fall” because its going down for real.
Holy shizzle, October needs to get here a-sapy. This momma is hooked!

I don't like that Elle seemed to be on a one track mind and just kept repeating the same damn thing. Shit or get off the pot was all I kept thinking.

This book continues to be a huge guilty pleasure for my inner teenager. Some parts of the plot were somewhat illogical, but not enough to diminish my enjoyment. Reed's POV felt a bit unnecessary to me, and the underlying message that the rich are bad and the poor are good and noble is quite tiresome. The twins are still useless to the story, and I'm curious if we'll ever learn more about them. I love the cliffhanger ending.
I so regret not bringing the 3 Rd book with me on vacation. Oh well I'll just suffer in silence.
Okay so the Royals may be a bit fucked up and all but i love them so much, and i want them to be happy

Where to begin, where to begin.
First off, this book is not YA, even though that is how it is marketed. I would never in a million years let my 16 year old daughter read this book. Just because books are about older teens does NOT make it suitable for that age range - especially in this shit-show of a book. The twins share a girlfriend, Easton fucks anything that moves, Reed beats the shit out of everyone and hooks up with his dad's girlfriend, and Gideon is blackmailed into boning Ella's dad's widow.
Gosh, the review just writes itself, doesn't it?
Pretty much, this series is ridiculous. But it is also like a car crash that you can't look away from. Seriously, I hated the first book because it was so absurd, and if this is what life is really like to be super rich I am fine right here in the middle class. So ridiculous, so so ridiculous. Like for real, the students at their super snobby prep school are practically going Lord of the Flies on one another because a Royal is not barking orders and keeping people in line. Reed fights EVERYONE, and Jordan strips some poor freshman naked, duct tapes her to the front of the school, and that's just cool? What. The. Fuck.
I can't even.
But, I heart Easton. I really do. Not in like a book boyfriend kind of way - by the way, saying you have a book boyfriend is weird. Stop it. Easton is really this sad, lost little boy and is trying to fill up that gaping hole left by his mom's death, or else numb it away. I am only reading book 2 and 3 to get to book 4, which I know technically I don't have to read 2 and 3, but I am OCD like that, and I want to understand what is going on.

Broken Prince may be my favorite book out of all three. We get to know Reed a lot better as well as love him. I simply adored his interaction with Ella and how, even if they weren't together for the totality of the book, their chemistry was off the charts, leading me to root for them so damn much.
These two must be one of my "I'll-die-shipping-this" couple.
The ending left me reeling and swamped with all the feels, because WHAT THE HELL, but it's all right because I got to read Twisted Palace right after and my blood-thirst was quenched.
I know this review is not one of my usual long, analytic ones but it's been a while since I read this and I'm afraid I'd stomp on a spoiler big time. He-he. No one wants that.
So I'll just say that this is one of my favorite NA (it's NA, right?) trilogies. It's over-dramatic, yes, and kind of a guilty pleasure, because this almost cinderella kind of things does not happen in real life. Yet I loved it. I loved the angst, I loved the characters and how messed up they all are. I even loved the dominion the Royals have over the school and how surreal it is, but all together, it built this incredible novel which had me hooked from page one of the first book.
I read the whole trilogy in a two-three days span and it gave me the worst/best book hangover ever.
So if you missed this trilogy for whatever reason, be sure to check it out and prepare to be Royally Ruined!

I totally guessed what happened with Brooke but at the last sentence I guessed it during the description of the person but I wasn't expecting that part of the story to happen. The last book is going to be a jaw dropper
